TEN YEAR WARRANTY INCLUDES WATER ABSORPTION!

FACTORY DIRECT SPA COVERS, as manufacturer, warrants this spa cover to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) years from the date of purchase by the original user, providing all terms of this warranty are met.

Defects in materials and workmanship occurring within ten years of original date of purchase will be repaired or replaced, at the option of Factory Direct without charge. (All costs of removal and reinstallation are at purchasers expense.)

THE WARRANTY obligations of FACTORY DIRECT SPA COVERS shall be limited to repair or replacement of the product. It shall not be liable or responsible under any circumstances or in any amount for consequential or incidental damage or for injury or damages to persons or property using or used in connection with the Product or for loss of profits or other costs or expenses of any kind or character. There is no warranties or representations by FACTORY DIRECT SPA COVERS other than set forth herein, either expressed or implied, and no person, firm or corporation is authorized to make any representation or incur any obligation in the name or on behalf of FACTORY DIRECT SPA COVERS except as stated herein.

FREIGHT to and from FACTORY DIRECT SPA COVERS to be paid by purchaser.

THIS WARRANTY APPLIES only during normal use and care and is absolutely VOID if the Product is misused, neglected, or damaged after delivery to the original purchaser or if it has been repaired or altered by someone other than FACTORY DIRECT SPA COVERS, or it has been used for any purpose other than a spa cover. In the event the outer vinyl of the cover must be repaired, the purchaser will be responsible for one way shipping of the vinyl only to the manufacturer. The manufacturer will ship the repaired vinyl to the purchaser free of charge.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not include damage incurred as outlined below:
1. FOAM INSERTS AND STEEL CHANNELS ARE NOT WARRANTED AGAINST BREAKAGE. Any tearing of the vinyl is also excluded. Melting of foam is excluded.
2. Misuse, abuse, negligence, alterations or if repairs on the cover are performed by anyone other than our representatives, unless express written approval is given.
3. Normal fading and minor deterioration of exterior surfaces, including thread. These occur naturally with normal chemical maintenance, exposure to the elements and aging.
4. Torn handles. The handles are meant for the sole purpose of opening and closing the cover, and NOT intended to be used to carry or remove the cover from the spa or hot tub.
5. Scuffing or chafing or wearing of holes in the cover by dragging or storing or leaning cover against sharp objects.
6. Failure to provide reasonable and periodic maintenance.
7. Direct exposure to any chemical or abrasive materials. That includes excessive chemical use in the water or contact with other various chemicals on the cover material.
8. Defects caused by a component, or part that is not part of the cover.
9. Damage caused by improper installation, or during transportation.
10. Accidents, such as but not limited to, snow, strong wind, hail, tornado, hurricane, falling objects or any or other acts of God. This cover is not intended to be walked on, stood on, or sat upon, or any excessive weight caused by rain, water, snow or animals.

TEN YEAR WARRANTY- 2 lb. density covers (Heavy Duty Covers)

SPECIAL FOAM CORE WARRANTY

If you purchased your cover after August 22nd, 2006, Factory Direct Spa Covers will repair, or replace at their option, ONLY originally purchased Heavy Duty, Two-pound density foam core inserts that have become saturated with moisture for a period of 10 years from date of purchase. Manufacturer will repair or replace at the manufacturer’s discretion any defects, without charge for materials and labor, if upon inspection by the manufacturer it is determined to be covered by the warranty. Purchaser is responsible for the return of the insulating cover and ALL freight and handling charges. This warranty applies to the ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY. Proof of purchase will be required. Commercial applications, oversized covers (covers that exceed 96" x 96"), and covers manufactured w/custom cut-outs and/or recesses are excluded. Warranty of foam cores is VOID if any holes are found to puncture or penetrate either the outer covering or inner seal.

Freight on any merchandise for warranty, both to and from Factory Direct Spa Covers, is to be paid by the purchaser. All repairs or replacements shall be F.O.B. manufacturer's plant.

Please notify Factory Direct Spa Covers IMMEDIATELY upon discovery of any defect.

PROOF OF PURCHASE MUST ACCOMPANY ANY WARRANTY REQUEST.

The following are care and maintenance suggestions:

It is recommended that you clean your cover monthly using mild soap and water. After drying it is recommended that you use 303 Protectant or our private label FDSC Cover Protectant.
Avoid exposing cover to excessive chemicals. Remove cover when adding chemicals and keep off until normal chemical levels are reached.
Avoid scraping the cover on abrasive surfaces.
All water must be kept from accumulating or puddling on the cover. After heavy rains and/or snow sweep off excessive water.
Avoid jerking or pulling cover or handles (especially when vinyl is softened by heat) to prevent threads from tearing the vinyl.
Do not place any item that can intensify or reflect the suns rays on top of the cover. Example; mirrors, glass, black trash bags, etc...

To obtain this warranty, contact the seller to receive instructions on where to present the claimed defective or failed cover along with a copy of the original bill of sale, showing the date of purchase, and photos clearly showing the claimed defect. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR ATHORIZATION FROM THE SELLER.
